Mercedes Vito – All Keys Lost in Stewton, Lincolnshire
The customer had lost all keys to their Mercedes-Benz Vito and was left stranded with the van and no working key available.
This was a genuine All Keys Lost (AKL) situation, so there was no existing key available to copy or use for programming.
We travelled over 140 miles to reach the customer in Stewton, Lincolnshire and get the vehicle operational again.
After carrying out the necessary vehicle and immobiliser procedures, a new replacement key was prepared and programmed directly to the Mercedes Vito.
The new key was then fully tested with the vehicle to confirm correct immobiliser recognition, remote operation and engine starting.
