BMW 1 Series 2017 – Spare Key Supplied & Programmed
The customer wanted an additional working key for their 2017 BMW 1 Series while the original key was still available.
A compatible replacement key was prepared and programmed to the vehicle. The work required access to the vehicle electronics to complete the key learning and immobiliser pairing procedure correctly.
Once programming was completed, both the existing key and the newly added spare key were checked to make sure the vehicle recognised them correctly.

• Existing vehicle and key checked
• New spare key supplied
• New key programmed to the vehicle
• Immobiliser pairing completed
• Original key retained and tested
• Remote locking and unlocking tested
• Engine start tested
• Both keys confirmed fully operational
The BMW was returned to the customer with two working keys, providing a useful backup should the original key ever be lost or damaged.
