Citroën Berlingo 2019 TCM Cloning
This Citroën Berlingo required a replacement transmission control module (TCM). Rather than fitting a donor gearbox ECU with incompatible vehicle data, the original module data was recovered and transferred to a compatible donor unit.
The vehicle uses an Aisin AXN8 transmission control module. The original TCM and replacement donor module were connected to specialist programming equipment so the relevant internal data could be read and transferred.

TCM cloning can be an effective solution when the original transmission control module has failed but its data can still be recovered. By transferring the original module data to a compatible donor, the replacement can retain the vehicle-specific information required by the transmission system.
